Travel Blessings

I'm dangerously close to keeping the mindset that everything about this trip is going to work out perfectly. Maybe all this convenience is just setting me up for something really crazy to happen?

My parents dropped me off at the airport this morning - bright and early at 6:45am to make sure everything would check in OK. Last night I was attempting to weigh my bag to make sure it would make the 50 lb mark so that I would not be charged an extra $120. It was a good thing I did!

Total weight at check-in: 49.5lbs!

Unfortunately, there were technical difficulties with my flight from Portland OR to Vancouver, so the woman put me on a direct flight from Denver to Vancouver instead! Too bad! I'll be getting in at 1:30pm local time, which gives me more time to orient myself to new surroundings.

I just found out that I am rooming with a friend of mine from Asbury, Julie Black and that we have a whole washer/dryer right in our room! The blessings overflow.

The LORD is good! His faithfulness endures forever - even when things do not go according to our plans. :)
