Part of me wishes this week were over already and I could already be on my way to Vancouver.
The other part of me is freaking out because I seem to have run out of time already! Really, where did the time go? Many are working already!
Anyway, it's 5 days and counting - things seem to be coming together. It's been SNOWING here in Wilmore, so I've been able to break in my super-intense winter boots as well as try to become acclimated to cooler temperatures. The credit card has arrived, my business cards should be on their way now, and all of the pending projects that I'm leaving here are almost where I wanted them to be.
One of these projects is a short film - a musical! I am completely at the mercy of my crew, but I am so thankful to have such a great group of people working with me on this! We start shooting just 2 days after I return... I have definitely felt moments of despair and frustration mixed with a seemingly ever-present anxiety, but then I am reminded that I will be going to Vancouver - to work at the OLYMPICS! And I am so thankful to be here!
